Due to the cost of advertising, and the fact that I am full time as a wedding officiant, the following fees are the same for all weddings, whether there are 2 people present or 2000. Besides paying for my experience, ceremony preparation, professionalism and great sense of humor, the fee also covers the expense in being able to find me when you need me (advertising), and for my being available when you need me (full time). Rio Grande Valley (does not include South Padre Island) Wedding Ceremony without rehearsal

$175, plus travel fee (travel fee only applies if travel is more than 60 miles from zip code 78516).

South Padre Island Wedding Ceremony without rehearsal

$195, at a site you've arranged; $249 if I need to find a site.

Marriage Ceremony (w/o rehearsal) Monday through Thursday (Rio Grande Valley only)

$100 plus travel fee (if applicable).

Weekend rehearsal (Fri, Sat, Sun)

$125 plus travel fee (if applicable).

Weekday rehearsal (Mon - Thurs)

$75 plus travel fee (if applicable)

Exclusive Service

If travel to your wedding (and rehearsal, if applicable) makes it impossible to schedule another wedding that day, or if you want me to devote the entire day to your wedding, the fee is $400 plus rehearsal (if planned), travel fee and expenses (hotel, meals, etc.)

Travel Fee.

The 60 miles from zip code 78516 is included in the ceremony/rehearsal free. The fee for additional travel time is $50 per hour. Remember, travel time is time when I could have scheduled another wedding, so this fee does not really even cover potentially lost income. If there are overnight expenses, they will be the responsibility of the couple: ie, hotel, meals, etc.

Other Expenses

Any additional expenses resulting from the location you choose for your wedding will be the responsibility of the bride and groom. This may include parking, valet fees, entrance fees, local permits, etc. Please make not of this. These expenses should be covered for the officiant in advance.

The retainer is half of the fee. And, if your wedding is cancelled within 60 days of the reserved date, the entire fee is due and payable.
